Narvi Kaamos Wood Burning Sauna Heater
Finnish Craftsmanship. Traditional Wood-Fired Sauna Experience.
The Narvi Kaamos Wood Burning Sauna Heater brings together traditional Finnish sauna culture and modern Scandinavian design. Named after Kaamos, the Finnish word for “Polar Night,” the Kaamos features clean lines, a minimalist matte-black exterior, and a robust construction designed for years of reliable wood-fired sauna use.
Designed and manufactured in Finland, the Kaamos is built for sauna enthusiasts who appreciate the natural heat, atmosphere, and authentic löyly created by a wood-burning sauna heater.
Available in Kaamos 16, Kaamos 20, and Kaamos 24 models, the series is designed to heat sauna rooms from approximately 8 to 24 cubic meters, depending on the selected model.
Soft, Enjoyable Löyly
The Kaamos is designed to provide a rich and comfortable sauna experience with its generous sauna stone capacity. The available models hold between 110 and 176 pounds of sauna stones, allowing the heated stones to retain substantial heat and produce soft, pleasant steam when water is added.
The combination of a traditional wood fire and a large stone mass creates the distinctive heat and löyly that makes wood-fired Finnish saunas so special.
Durable Construction for Long-Term Performance
The Kaamos is built with durability in mind. A heavy-duty cast iron door and full glass front provide a clear view of the fire while creating an inviting atmosphere inside the sauna.
The heater also features a 10 mm thick firebox roof, providing a strong and durable structure designed to withstand repeated exposure to high temperatures.
Efficient and Clean Wood Burning
The Kaamos incorporates a large, durable fire grate and a protective air deflector plate at the rear of the heater. Together, these components are designed to support efficient airflow and cleaner combustion.
This helps the heater make effective use of the firewood while maintaining consistent heating performance.
Easy Installation and Adjustable Feet
Installation is made easier with adjustable feet, allowing the heater to be positioned and leveled more precisely during installation.
The Kaamos is a floor-standing wood-burning sauna heater, making it a practical choice for traditional Finnish-style sauna installations.
Modern Finnish Design
The Kaamos combines the character of a traditional wood-burning sauna heater with a contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic. Its angular structure and matte-black finish give it a sleek appearance that complements both traditional and modern sauna interiors.
